Includes an annual assessment of staff needs; assistance writing help-wanted ads that attract qualified applicants; assistance developing and updating employment applications; help developing and updating position-specific job descriptions; and links to outsourced staffing solutions.
Choosing the right employees Module 3: Employee Selection Support at every step of the employment process from interviewing, pre-employment, to new hire orientation. Includes establishing candidate screening criteria and using it to evaluate resumes/applications; training to help you interview with maximum confidence and minimum bias; the creation of offer letters templates and updates as needed; help designing pre-employment testing processes and new hire forms and checklists, along with updates as needed.
Deciding how much or how often to pay Module 4: Compensation Management Expert analysis, risk assessment and help designing pay scales. Includes exempt/non-exempt classification analysis; annual analysis for pay inequities based on race/gender; compensation survey data for local market; design of pay ranges/scales for each position and annual update; creation of annual compensation and benefits statement.
Encouraging maximum contribution and dealing with performance issues Module 5: Performance Management A custom-designed performance evaluation and corrective counseling process plus training for supervisors. Includes training for supervisors on how to conduct performance counseling sessions; the development and annual updating of performance management processes/forms; development and updating of disciplinary forms and processes; creation of termination processes and checklists and updates as needed.
Improving employee morale Module 6: Employee Communication Tools to open up two-way communication. Includes the development and administration of an annual employee survey and the development of a plan for consistent communication in a formal setting.
Dealing with turnover problems Module 7: Employee Retention Customized tools to help you retain valued talent. Includes design of career paths and annual updates and design of employee recognition system and regular updates.
Complying with laws that apply to your business Module 8: Employment Administration & Compliance Expert assistance with legal compliance and file management that starts with an audit of current practices. Includes providing employment and labor law posters and regular updates; HR audit; annual training of managers on applicable employment law topics such as harassment, discrimination, leaves of absence, hiring, and terminations; initial personnel file analysis for all active employees; review of new hire personnel files twice per year; assistance organizing files based on findings of analysis; and help designing recordkeeping document for ongoing use.
Deal with challenges from regulatory agencies Module 9: Regulatory Liaison Module Price varies based on number of issues Expert assistance responding to discrimination charges or other complaints. Includes working with attorney to develop a position statement; providing verbiage and documentation recommendations when responding to unemployment claims; and creating/updating written Affirmative Action Plans and providing on-going support and liaison with OFCCP.
