Painting & Cleaning at "Our Kids" in Nashville

At Midsouth Consulting Group, enhancing the community is a core value.

That's why on Friday, October 23, 2009, seventeen Midsouth Consulting Group employees spent the day painting, cleaning and organizing at the Our Kids facility.

Our Kids provides expert medical and crisis counseling services for children when there are allegations or concerns of child sexual abuse. They also work to increase community awareness, participate in research and offer education and training about child maltreatment.

In the lobby and waiting room, MCG employees removed small toys, cleaned plastic toys, wiped lobby furniture, recycled outdated magazines and coloring books, organized books/children’s materials in the waiting room, replaced crayons, discarded broken and incomplete puzzles and wiped down furniture in interview rooms. They painted the board room, waiting room and lobby bathroom. They also organized and cleaned "Area 51," inventoried Soup Sunday supplies, updated displays, and sorted toys and supplies.
